YOUNG PEOPLE ARE THE FUTURE
That’s why educating and empowering them with CPR and Defibrillation skills is one of the most important actions when it comes to improving survival rates of out of hospital cardiac arrests in the UK.
In countries where basic life support is taught in schools, survival rates for sudden cardiac arrest are significantly (two to three times) higher than those where they aren’t taught.
I am so delighted to be working with my local community trusts, supported by football clubs, who have chosen to include these training sessions in their summer programs for young people this year.
These great programs aimed at enhancing the skills & opportunities of young people in their communities are now made even better.
