Just 3 little words can make all the difference to someone struggling with a Mental Health problem.

All you have to do is really mean them.

Take the time to listen carefully to what the other person is telling you.

Try to maintain eye contact and keep an open body position (uncrossed arms/legs).

Express empathy NOT sympathy.

Do not judge.

Encourage appropriate professional support

Provide reassurance.

SAY LESS, LISTEN MORE.
